Old-Fashioned Lemonade
Having school holidays is what I've been waiting for. I don't have to wake up very very early where I have to move in rush every minute to wake the kids up, having them ready for schools, prepare the makan, so as to fetch them from school in time and so on. But having them whole day at home is also a nerve racking. Arguing with each other is just as common in sibling life. Likewise during my past too. Fixing a broken heart from the defeated side is such a hard time tho. But I always remind myself to be a fair judge among them as not to break their confident & trust in me. Bukan senang nak jadi hakim oiii...hehe.
As promised before she sit for her practical exam tomorrow, I let elder Q to perform her 'terrorness' in making this. She even used her initiative to add in the pulp as well!
Old Fashioned Iced Lemonade
Boil together:
1 liter water
130gm sugar
Refrigerate till cold, then add in:
Juice of 2-3 medium lemon
Pour in a tall glass or a jug full of ice cubes with lemon slices...
Note: You can add in more or less sugar depending the tartness of the lemon & your taste.

Exam cntre was @Yamaha marine parade ysterday. Exam time was @1020-1040am but early2 dah smpai coz takut jam. Her examiner, a late 50's british gntleman, dah mcm anton rubestein jer chip tengok, hehe. Dgn rambut serunyai dia, kena buat teknik rebonding tuh!
Yer la kza, tingat citer dlm tibi, bdk2 kat US buat lemonade pastu jual tepi2 jalan, 10cent per glass. Yg banyak beli oso bdk2 yg memain kat situ. Tapi kalu kat sini nak jual tepi jalan bole, tapi skejap lagi kena masuk lokap! hehehe.
siapa itu anton rubenstein?...dia jual mee kat west coast ke?...wah..kena main lagu klasik..examiner pun klasik style dia eh..takper..semangat classic idup kat situ..moga2 Q pass semuanyer eh...teringat masa kicii sama jugak...tiap tahun kena nenek2, atok2 tukang examiner..rasa sungguh Europe bila masuk bilik sejuk,ngan kena main lagu kelasik,pulak dulu kena kat victoria theatre nyer studio..kicii kan kuat menggeletar..tiap kali practical, tiap kali main geletar2..hope Q tak gitu eh..sib baik time tu tak amik exam biola...habis putui2 tali tangsi sebab geletar chronic kicii..
kahkahkah...entah chp pun tak kenaii sapa itu anton rubenstein adek badek ruben barricelo kot! Tu yang pantang nenek moyang maknya sabariah, ahli musik. Sib baik chp ahli masak, cerah skit masa depang aku!
sodap tu k.niss... tapi lin batuk ni.. sore pun dah macam itik serati... :( nanti lin dah sembuh buat kat lin lagi ek??? :)
wah kici-kici dah minat ke dapur, bagus tu, anak dara saya kalau di suruh ke dapur merengus, masam muka, sama mcm maknya kot masa kecik, saya memang tak minat ke dapur.
