Gorengan Cumi-Cumi ( Fried Baby Squids)

Gorengan Cumi-Cumi (Fried Baby Squids)

I Need:
1kg cumi-cumi (baby squids), pull out the soft bones, wash & drain
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp thai fish sauce (nampla)
2 fresh green chili, sliced
4 chilli padi, chopped coursely
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
25 gm butter
sugar to taste*
*here I do not use salt because the fish and oyster sauce is salty enough.
How:
1. Marinate cumi-cumi (baby squids) with a dash of salt and tumeric powder for 10-20 minutes.
2. Fry the cumi-cumi with 5 tbsp cooking oil until cook. Drain and put aside.
3. In another cooking pan, heat up butter till melt and add chopped garlic till fragrant (by not letting the colour till brown).
4. Add in oyster and fish sauce, stir well, then add in lemon juice.
5. Add all the chillies and blend it well with sugar.
6. Lastly add in the earlier fried cumi-cumi and stir till even.
Till then.... take care :p
